Albeit not particularly well but this is the first time I’ve heard the engine since I bought the bike. Now tuning and fixing all the other bits can begin! Much excite!

That’s the greatest feeling isn’t it? Getting something to run for the first time. I pretty recently got my junkyard XR200R running and rode around my yard for a bit. It runs like garbage, but it runs! My wife said she should have taken a picture because I looked like a little kid.

It really is. I think what makes it even more satisfying is knowing that I don’t have to dump a bunch of time and money into an engine overhaul right now. I’m sure my first ride around the block will have me grinning like a kid on a new bicycle too. :P
